After working as an economist at the INSEE and then at the Banque de France, Alexandre Baclet joined the French Treasury in 2010 as head of the Economic and Monetary Union office, where he was involved in managing the Eurozone sovereign debt crisis. In 2013, he took charge of the New York economic department.In 2015, he became Europe, International and Economic Financing Advisor to Michel Sapin, Minister of Finance.In 2016, he was appointed Deputy Director of Public Finance at the Treasury Department, where he was responsible for producing public finance forecasts and taking part in the development of the State's budgetary strategy. He was then appointed Deputy Director for Europe in 2018, a position he has held until today. In this capacity, in spring 2020 he contributed to the implementation of emergency measures at European level in response to the Covid crisis, then to the drawing up of the European recovery plan.Alexandre Baclet is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique (ENSAE), and holds a master's degree from the Paris School of Economics.
An alumnus of ENSMA, the National School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering in Poitiers, with an Executive MBA from top business school HEC Paris, Géry Mortreux, born in 1966, started out at Air Inter in 1989, where he occupied a number of positions in the maintenance sphere. In 1996, he joined Air France as 737/727 Engineering Manager, later becoming 747/767 Production Manager. In 2001, he became A320 Fleet Manager, and subsequently (2005) Supply Chain Director, followed by his appointment as VP Components Industrial Operations in 2006. In 2007, he moved to Sabena Technics in Brussels as EVP Engineering and Maintenance, Civil Aircraft, before his appointment as Technical Director of Corsair International in 2008, and subsequently as Chief Operating Officer and Accountable Manager in 2011.
Since joining Air Inter in 1987 as a passenger sales agent at CDG airport, Catherine Villar worked as a sales representative in Bordeaux for 5 years, following a prior experience at the Terminal Elysėe ticket office. She joined the Air Inter Sales Division in 1995 and worked closely with the Air France teams, joining the Revenue Management team in 1996. In the Marketing Division, she developed the Fréquence Plus programme and subsequently worked with KLM teams on creating the Flying Blue frequent flyer programme at the time of the merger. In 2009, she joined the Procurement division, in charge of intellectual, financial, marketing and communication services procurement. In 2014, she joined the Air France-KLM Marketing teams, in charge of managing the Group brand portfolio and customer studies. She has been SVP Customer Experience Air France since 2019.
Following his arrival in 2002, Benjamin Smith occupied several positions of responsibility at Air Canada. He became Vice President Network Planning before joining the Air Canada executive management team in 2007 as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
After starting her career with McKinsey & Co, Inc, she joined Pepsico, Inc from 1991 to 1994, before joining the Thomas Cook Group (UK) in 1994 as Marketing Director of Thomas Cook Promotions and then Marketing and Sales Director of Going Places Leisure Travel Ltd. From 2001 to 2007, she was Managing Director of STA Travel's international division in London and then appointed Managing Director of Cheapflights Media UK in 2007 before becoming Group Business Development Director from 2009 to 2011.
From 2010 to summer 2018, she was Senior Vice President Human Resources for the American company AptarGroup, member of the Executive Committee and Chairwoman of the European head office based in France.
In 2005, he joined the CGT union and was elected staff representative in 2007. In 2008, he became secretary of the CGT section of the Toulouse Industrial Centre. From October 2017 to January 2022, he was Co-Secretary General of the Air France CGT union
After working in project financing at the Société Générale Investment Banking in New York in 2002, she worked at the European Commission from 2004 to 2007, first in the Trade division and then in the Competition division. Florence Verzelen then joined the office of the Secretary of State for European Affairs, as an Advisor, in charge of industrial and commercial matters.
